The Client
Terani Couture: Luxury Evening and Formal Wear
Founded in 1990 with showrooms in Los Angeles and New York, Terani Couture is an international fashion house specializing in evening gowns, Mother of the Bride and Groom dresses, prom collections, and pageant couture. Known for intricate hand-beading, imported silks, and crystal detailing, the brand retails worldwide through high-end boutiques and luxury department stores.
THE CHALLENGE
Strong Wholesale Legacy, Unbalanced Social Channels
While Terani Couture had decades of B2B success with retail boutiques, their consumer-facing channels lacked clear roles. Instead of showcasing gown movement or addressing formal events, the feeds functioned like a flat digital catalog.

Unbalanced Channel Roles
Paid campaigns carried the weight of reaching viewers on Facebook, while organic posts lacked the video formats needed to hold attention or spark interactions on their own.

Static Catalog Photos
Feeds relied on standard mannequin shots and studio lookbooks rather than showing the fabric flow, crystal sparkle, and fit that dress shoppers want to see.

Untapped Wedding Audiences
High-intent buyer groups, especially Mother of the Bride and Mother of the Groom, had no dedicated video series or tailored messaging.

Disconnected Channels
YouTube and Facebook ran separately from Instagram, missing opportunities to cross-promote seasonal runway debuts and trunk show launches.
The goal
Dynamic Runway Video, Occasion Storytelling, and Channel Balance
The goal was to turn a static wholesale feed into an active digital runway, pairing organic buyer engagement with targeted paid scale to drive foot traffic to partner boutiques.
Show Real Movement on Screen
Replace flat studio stills with fluid, vertical runway videos that highlight gown movement and hand-beaded details under lighting.
Create Occasion-Focused Series
Dedicate content to major life milestones, like weddings, galas, and pageants, so shoppers searching for specific event dresses share and save the posts.
Sync Multi-Channel Video
Repurpose high-production runway footage across Instagram, Facebook, and YouTube Shorts to build steady watch time without extra shoot costs.
THE STRATEGY
Runway Storytelling, Editorial Reels, and Occasion Pillars
Instead of posting simple catalog photos, we organized the weekly publishing schedule around four video pillars built to hold viewer attention and work alongside paid distribution
Step 1

Movement & Fabric Reels
We replaced static lookbook photos with high-frame-rate vertical videos showing how each gown drapes, moves, and catches the light on the runway.
Step 02

Mother-of-the-Bride Storytelling
We created relatable wedding-themed Reels celebrating the Mother of the Bride and Groom, connecting directly with families shopping for formal milestone dresses.
Step 03

Runway & Trunk Show Previews
We shared behind-the-scenes fitting clips, candlelit runway walks, and seasonal trunk show announcements to highlight craftsmanship and direct buyers to local stockists.
Step 04

Cross-Platform Video Syndication
We formatted top-performing vertical runway clips into YouTube Shorts and Facebook video series to build evergreen viewership across all three platforms
